The History of Tubal-Cain Industries

Tu’bal Cain (tu’bal-kan): Tubal, the smith, was the son of Lamech and wife Zillah, and is described in Genesis 4:22 as fabricating every artifact of brass and iron.

Tubal-Cain Industries was incorporated in March 1981 by owner and president Ed Van Huis. Originally a small, two-man shop producing anchor bolts and other miscellaneous items, Tubal-Cain Industries, Inc. has become a leader in the steel technologies industry. Our company’s success is built on a foundation of outstanding customer service and top quality products.

Today, Tubal-Cain, located just north of the Southeast Texas city of Vidor, is considered a major industry for the area. Tubal-Cain Industries and Tubal-Cain Marine Services employ well over 100 workers.
